The Bolzano hut

The Bolzano hut nestles on a mountain, the symbol of South Tyrol, at 2,500 m above sea level. A castle of sorts, surrounded by the Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Catinaccio and Latemar mountains. Walking to the hut during summer, or going on a snowshoe hike during winter, will be an unforgettable experience you will cherish forever.

Presule Castle

Our hotel boasts a stunning view of the amazing Presule Castle, a building which was built in the 1200s. This fairy-tale location is home to the history of our land, and visiting it is somewhat of a duty: how can you not head there, when the castle has preserved its original charm and beauty over the course of the centuries?

History and the present meet in South Tyrol’s museums

Our hotel is in a strategic position to reach locations surrounded by nature as well as places where culture, art, and history take centre stage. In Bolzano and its surroundings, visit the Museion, Ötzi, the Messner Museums, the Lumen in Plan de Corones, and SMACH with its open-air art exhibition (Valle dell’Arte) in San Martino in Badia, and even the MART in Rovereto are an unmissable highlight during your holiday. And easy to reach, to boot!

Traditional mountain huts

Near the hotel, you’ll find traditional huts and farmsteads which are well worth a visit to experience how life was in the past. In some of these farmsteads you can also purchase local products, taking in the fresh scent of mountain herbs which are grown here to this very day.
